Coyote
Maye Clement brought Craig Lehoullier a branch of tiny yellow tomatoes to display at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Harvest Fair in the late 1980s. Maye said these tiny little tomatoes grew wild in her home country of Mexico. We first grew Coyote in 2010 and have been amazed at how such a tiny tomato has such a big taste! You just can't stop popping them in your mouth like candy. The vine gets huge so give them plenty of room and lots of good support. The fruits are in clusters of 6-8 fruits. If eaten when the color is more translucent and less yellow they have a really good tomato flavor and then as they turn more yellow they have a great sweet flavor. We'll definitely be growing these again.
