Green Zebra was bred by Thomas Wagner and released in his 1983 Tater Mater Seeds catalog.  Four varieties went into the makeup of Green Zebra.

Green Zebra is an unusual tomato, it matures into a light green/yellow with deep green stripes and light green interior flesh, this tomato has a bright and unique flavor. Excellent to brighten up salads or sauces, the citrius flavor will certainly surprise and entertain your guests or family!  Green Zebra has been described as "zingy, zippy, lemon-lime flavored and tangy". We first grew Green Zebra in 2009 and fell in love with its tangy flavor.
